FUNDRAISING!!

I'm doing a fundraiser at First Class Pizza in Talega on, Thursday June 3rd! PLEASE COME!!! 15% of all the money made that night goes towards my trip. Just so everyone knows the money you guys are donating goes to the children and the families in India not to me personally! It's a great cause so PLEEEEASE come!! I have to raise 4 grand in one month, so if anybody has any other fundraising ideas PLEASE let me know because I am desperate!! Look for flyers from either me, Maddy Forrester, Frannie Coxe, Max Robinson and Lindsay Grant.
Flyers will be designed by Max Robinson! :)

I'm so thankful God's given me AMAZING people to help me!

Thank you for YOUR help! LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Why am I going to India?

First of all, thank you for even being interested enough to look at my blog && thank you so much for all of you who are sponsoring me and helping me get to India :)

I believe that when you've been blessed with a lot, that it's your responsibility to give back && I've been fortunate enough to be blessed with more than I could ask for. It's been my passion to help those who have nothing && when this opportunity came around, I could NOT decline!! People say, "Ew! India is so dirty! No toilets?! No running water?! You're nuts!!" These people in India are studs. They do it every day of their lives and don't even know any different. I'm positive I can handle it for one month. Bring it on :) I am so thankful to have this amazing opportunity && journey ahead of me && I am so grateful for all of you who are helping me make this all possible!! I can't thank you enough!

I'll be in India for one month. I leave July 12th && I come back August 9th. I'm not going to lie.... I'm ridiculously EXCITED!! Nervous, but excited :) While I'm there, I'll be helping the lepers by taking care of their wounds, spoon-feeding them (because some don't have fingers), sponge-bathing them, teaching them and their families English, teaching them how to use computers && teaching them how to be self-sufficient. They can also receive Micro business loans so they can start their own businesses and be able to create a stable living.

I know most of you are probably thinking, "A little, naive girl getting out of her San Clemente bubble thinks she's going out to try and change the world. Silly her." I'm crossing my fingers that I can bring people hope, but I really believe that the people of India will be changing me && I am so grateful that God has brought this opportunity to me. PLEASE contact me if you're interested in helping sponsor my trip. Thank you!!!

TWO MORE MONTHS!!
